Image \u00a9 Ugo Carmeni<\/small><br \/>\n<\/figure>\n<\/p>\n<p>The Nordic countries&#8217; display at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.archdaily.com\/tag\/venice-architecture-biennale-2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">19th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia<\/a> is housed in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.archdaily.com\/784536\/ad-classics-nordic-pavilion-in-venice-sverre-fehn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sverre Fehn&#8217;s celebrated 1962 Nordic Pavilion<\/a>, a landmark of architectural <a href=\"https:\/\/www.archdaily.com\/tag\/modernism\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">modernism<\/a> representing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.archdaily.com\/country\/sweden\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sweden<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.archdaily.com\/country\/norway\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Norway<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.archdaily.com\/country\/finland\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Finland<\/a>. This year, the Nordic countries present an exhibition that blends architecture, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.archdaily.com\/tag\/performance\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">performance<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.archdaily.com\/tag\/art-installations\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">art installation<\/a>, treating the built environment as a stage for the sociopolitical norms of fossil-based culture.
