I am so excited, honored and thrilled to officially introduce you to my fabulous stylist Courtney K. Davis! Courtney and I have teamed up because we see the world in such similar ways. I love her passion for life and her dreams to make women feel beautiful and fabulous. She is the perfect addition to The Boudoir Vixen experience and I am just so happy to have her on my team. 1. How long have you been a stylist?
I have been a stylist ten years, Owner of Salon Indigo in Lafayette, La for six years and have been a Guest Artist for Joico/Iso hair care for four years.
2. What made you want to get into this industry?
I have always had a passion for the beauty industry, even when I was a little girl…When I got older I did hair and make-up for pageants, and of course for all my friends in high school!! Now it’s about making people look and feel beautiful about themselves…
3. What is your favorite style of makeup?
My personal favorite is the Bombshell look… What woman doesn’t want to be a sexy Vixen… but I love to mix it up and try new creative styles on each person! I believe in bringing out someone’s natural beauty..Only Better!!!
4. What inspires you?
New challenges, inspiring, motivated people, striving to be the best at whatever I set my mind to!!!
5. Personal motto?
“With faith and friends you can accomplish anything”
6. What is your biggest dream?
To be happy and successful at whatever I do and inspire others to do the same… Oh, and to be quoted at least once in my lifetime!!!
7. You recently surprised your husband with a boudoir shoot…. would you do it again?
ABSOLUTELY in fact I am saving up already and have my outfits packed!! He LOVED them… and so did I. I went into my shoot thinking I was doing this for my husband, but I came out of it feeling empowered, and more beautiful than I have ever felt before….
8. If you had one piece of advice to give a girl who is about to go into a boudoir shoot, what would it be?
Take a deep breath, set aside your insecurities, find your inner “goddess” and let her roar!!! You’ll have No regrets:)
