The Supermodel Shoot

Here at The Boudoir Vixen we offer several different options for packages to give everyone the chance to find what best suits their needs. One of my favorite packages is our “Supermodel” package. It’s a 2.5 hour shoot, and allows you the opportunity to wear 5 different outfits for your shoot. The reason I call it the Supermodel package is because it’s what I feel will give you a really close feel of what it’s like to be a supermodel. Not only do you get to change 5 different times, but our hair/makeup stylist will change up your hair and lipsticks, etc. You’ll leave really feeling like a supermodel!! I wanted to do a Supermodel shoot to document with both photo and video to give you a better idea of what I mean. I asked Brittney to come in and model for me so I could share her whole experience with you. Usually our clients bring their own outfits and do all the planning as far as that goes. But this time I was the one to choose, provide and completely style all of the outfits for Brittney so I could have my own taste and give you all some really great ideas for outfits. You’ll get the opportunity to see a huge variety of “looks” in Brittney’s session and I think it will really help you get an idea of how awesome it is to come in and get the whole experience of a Supermodel shoot.

Something else I really loved about Brittney’s shoot in particular, is she didn’t hold back. I know coming in for a boudoir shoot can be super super nerve-wracking. 99% of our clients come in nervous, but after the first few photos taken, they are already realizing how much fun it is!! Brittney did an excellent job of just letting go of the nerves, and just had fun in front of the camera. She was very playful and flirty with her body movements and facial expressions. You’ve heard the expression “work it!” — well, that’s exactly the best thing you can do when doing a boudoir shoot. No worries, I work with you in directing you on how to pose and what to do, but that “sexy attitude” in your face is something I can’t force and must come from you. Which is why we tell all of our clients to practice in the mirror. It’s SUPER important.  : )

For her first two looks, I had her wear more full body “get ups” with all the accessories, etc to get that real, full VIXEN look. ; )

After the first two outfits, I toned it down a little for some simpler, softer looks. I love this outfit because it’s super vintage looking with the lace and nude stockings. (I love nude stockings!)

For her fourth look, I went all white for a really beautiful, elegant look. I included a waist cincher for this outfit because I LOVE WAIST CINCHERS. They are so cool and so awesome for a boudoir shoot.

For her fifth look I wanted something really cute, playful and colorful.

At the end I decided to add on a sixth outfit to her shoot because I was just having so much fun and I had one more outfit I was dying to share that is super awesome. This lace leotard is super unique and different from your usual lingerie. But it is absolutely beautiful and simple. It was the perfect way to end her shoot. Her hair had fallen a lot and by that point was completely softer and looked different than when we had started.

As you can see, Brittney was able to get SO many different looks for her boudoir shoot. It’s so much fun to go all the way and get the really full experience as it’s something you will not regret and cherish for the rest of your life.
